The bar charts catch my eyes when I take a glance at the paper. As we can see, the life expectancy increased from 40 years old in 1960 to 60 years old in 1990. On the contrary, the infant mortality droped from nearly 200 to 100 deaths per 1,000 births in the same period. This difference seems to exist in isolation but closely related to each other. This difference can be explained for several factors. The top list is the advancement of medical thecnology which make the cure of dead diseases into reality. A growing number of people get away from the death because of the advanved and exordinary medical thecnology. So do the infant, they protect by the doctor and nurse very well. Put forward, the improvement of people's living enviroment also count much to the longer life expectancy and lower infant death rate. People are facing less threat than ever before. It's exmtremely happy for people to see such a change. And with the development of the society, it's definate that the people's lite expectancy will become longer and longer, and the infant mortality will lower and lower.
