Advertising encourage people to buy in quantity rather than promoting its quality. To what extent do you agree or disagree?

【题目分析

老题。广告出题种类两种,一种为大范围的(易写),如广告的好与坏;一种为考察细节的(难写),如来自竞争公司的广告对消费者的影响,而此次考试属于后者。所以大家要加强审题练习。

作者词汇量积累需要继续努力,尤其学术词汇还有很大提升空间,另外拼写检查还需加强;可适当增加复杂句和从句的使用;文章层次不够分明,缺少组织,需注意文章整体的组织结构。

Advertising is a very important marketing tool today. I think that advertising boosts the the sales of the advertised products instead of the quality, but I believe that the most of the consumers still make their own choices. Advertising is an integral part of our lives. For example, it informs us about new products or services and it helps consumers better understand the advertised products. This means we can get more access to things we would like to buy and we can be clear about whether we need the products. Advertising is also creative and entertaining. It encourages people to associate the advertised products with attractive livestyles, which makes people aware of the lastest trend. In this way, it brodens our horizon. However, there are many deceptive advertisements that only focus on the quantity instead of the quality. Some promotional flyers aimed at the patients are of the most disgusting. They use the patients' disease to make profit. Similarly, the advertisements aimed at teenage also use stars to pursuade them to buy things they don't need. The goverment may regulate this kind of advertising. In conclusion, advertisments do have drawbacks, but I think it's valuable.
