As we can see in the cartoon, many people are surfing online in front of their computers in a large spider web.Different from the webs in our true life,the spider web separates these people by walls,We are informed that not merely does the internet make it more convenient for us to contact with others who are far away from us,but let us have less communication with the individuals near us in our true life as well. It is obvious that the cartoonist aims at reminding us of the pros and cons of the internet.As we well know,with the development of the internet ,we can keep in touch with our friends and relatives in almost everywhere through 4G connections.Moreover,by using the internet based search engines such as Google,WIKI and so on,we can achieve various kinds of information we need at any time.Nevertheless,the wide use of the internet also brings a variety of problems to us.As the internet has become increasingly popular among young people,less time is left to the communication between parents and children.More seriously,many young persons are addicted to the online games such as DOTA and LOL so that they have no time to concentrate on their studies,many students drop out schools because of their addictions to the online games. It is my view that the internet as a double-edged sword should be treated in an appropriate way.Firstly, we should make full use of the convenience which is brought by the internet.For another,instead of killing time through those boring games,it is preferable for young people to spend more time communicating with their families.The communication in true life is much more sincere and frank than that in the visual world like the internet.
