When I was a little boy, I dreamt nothing. Maybe, being a happy boy is my unique pursue at that time. When I grow up and left home to go to study in a college, 400 kilometers away from my hometown Huangshan (Huizhou, her used name which sustained more than 800 hundreds), I started to realize I come from a great place where created a glorious history in the ancient dynasty, a place where created hui merchants, hui culture, hui cuisine and so on. Now her name is Huangshan, a famous tourist city because of Mount Huang. But a sad truth placed in front of the people of Huizhou is that compared with her history this area is lost in the contemporary era. From the internet I got acquainted with so many people who are so pride of our history and making determination to revive our great history. I was shocked and realized I should also do something to contribute to our hometown, and the thought becomes one of my objectives since then. When I graduated, with my dream, I started my job, than I found that the dream is very plump, reality very bone. So I made a decision that go back to campus to have a further study. Now, I am here as a postgraduate at Donghua university. My dream of making my own little contribution to my hometown is always there, but I should make myself more excellent to achieve it. To be honest, I am so cherish this opportunity of studying here, so I made a detailed plan before I came here. The expectation to my study is also the demands to myself. Firstly, I should study well of my major courses, these are essential demands to myself since it is my chief duty as a student. Secondly, I will browse many books which are correlate to my major, I read these books because I think it is a way which let me be a qualified student of Economics, and it is also a good way to improve my knowledge. Thirdly, in order to finish my thesis easily, I need read academic papers in my major area. ln addition, to be a competitive person, I need grasp several practical skills, such as proficient in Photoshop, Corel VideoStudio and Office. In terms of the expectations of my future career, I am not sure which specific area I will engage in. Now I am interested in several fields, for example, Financial sector, Consulting industry or to participate in the civil service exam. No matter which area I will finally work, I do believe I will do my best to do it, and to make some contribution to society. About the future, I have many words to say. Nobody doesn't want to be a successful man in his future, of course including me. But according to my understanding, a successful man does not mean he or she has a big company, or has a lot of money. In my opinion, a truly successful person is one who really does something useful for the world we live in, not just he or she have something. Put it in another way, a successful person is a man who is riched in social responsibility. To be a responsible man is what I want to be in the future. My dream is simple, do a useful person to society, particularly a man make some contribution to my hometown just as my ancestors did, no matter directly or indirectly. About expectation of myself is concrete but also very abstract. To put it simply, it can be my recent goals, it also can be my lofty ideals. But target or lofty ideal, I need it, it is a beacon in my life journey, it lights my road, it guides me forward.
