Students’ Obsession with Virtual Life This is a bar chart which illustrates the percent of college students population， who spend hours online per day. Obviously，most of college1students spend over 6 hours in surfing the Interne. Next, about 30 percent of them use 1 to 3 hours per day, while 27 percent of them use 3 to 6 hours per day. To our surprise, there is omly 6 percent of college students who spend less than 1 hour online. There is no denying that college students spend too much time online, and it has become a prevailing trend. Actually, a variety of factors can account for the appearance of this phenomenon,with the following ones being the foremost. To begin with, there is much homework to do by computer. what we can't avoid is studying online, which takes a lot of time. Besides, most of college students need to keep in touch with family and friends, that is why they have a bug about cyber space. Last but not least, infatuated with computer games will waste them much time, which beyonds what is expected. Nobody could have failed to notice it has been a grave problem with whichwe are confronted. Were such situation to continue, college students eyesight will be influenced badly in the long run. What's worse, once you are addicated to computer games, you can't focus on study. And your grades will go straight south. Compared with it, being wallowing in shopping online is not only a waste of time, it also consumes much money. So it is high time that we took effective measures to solve the problem. What is the most important way is to make a specific plan of time. What's more ,we can develop other interests, I think doing exercise is of good use. To sum up, on the one hand, network brings us many benefits，on the other hand，we can't rely on virtual life. We should be the master of network, not be masted by it.
