Communicating is always the heated and significant topic among people, for the sake of dilivering important information or enhancing the relationship among people. Whatever the purpose of your communication, information technology has created more efficient instrument for people to keep in touch than the traditional face to face way. The cardinal factor that encourages people to receive emails, telephones or other ways to contact people is time-saving. Oceans of de facto examples have seen the waste of time on making a decent time to have a talk, and worse, if something contingent happen, it is hard to coordinate the next meeting with counterparts, which may cause a subsequent fallout, for businessmen losing money. Just consider that you have an important contract to negotiate with your customer, but the problem is that your mother tells you your father in a terrible sick in hospital. That causes a realistic delimma between the family and work, beacause the meeting time is fixed and can't change in the slight. However, things will be different if we use the distant meeting in the negotiation, as you can take your personal and formal affairs into acount in the same time. What's the another trouble in the face-to-face communication is that you may spend extra enormous outlay on the travel expenses, especially for giant companies like international corporations, global enterpreneurs. That expense is based on the regional difference and the difficult transmission of important information. When I was a child, my father as a senior engineer used to go away on business to participate commercial or industrial summit, which brought out not only the time wasting, less productivity, but also require employees to remote families. In contrast, nowadays,people reduce the chances on the ride, instead, the Internet allows people being contacted all over the world. Last but not least, face-to-face meeting will be less effective on passing information with huge content, perhaps resulted from the physiological limits on human's brain. As a matter of fact, direct communication between two people or small quantity of people with short message does have effective results, but that may not apply to the more volume of information more people. In order to preserve the high quality in the information conveying, emails, faxes or TV vedios are better choices, for those permit receivers to reading or watching repeatly and have time to command the contents. In conclusion, face-to-face communication has lots of shortcomings that dislocate the current conditions, yet more and more new methods to be innovated to meet our daily demand.
