Many people think cheap air travel should been couraged because it gives ordinary people freedom to travel further. However, others think this leads toenvironmental problem, so air travel should be more expensive in order to discourage people from having it. Discuss both views andgive your own opinion.

本题是旧题，与2008年6月14日的考题完全相同，与2010年4月10日（见下）的考题也几乎一致。属于科技类与环保类的混合话题，题型为Discursive(Argumentation)。值得一提的是，最近考老题的次数较多，上一次考试（2011年3月19日）的考题与2008年11月15日的完全相同，因此提醒各位考生一定要重视对历年考题的复习。有意思的是，今天欧洲考区的话题同样是科技类与环保类的混合题型，同样是2008年的考过的旧题。题目是科技改变农产品产量与质量的利弊（详见本文最后）。
【话题评价】
环保类写作话题题库中有一个小分支是关于“交通工具”的。从2003年至今，这个分支话题共出现8次，其中2次是问汽车的利弊，6次飞机是否应该被限制（其余4道话题见下）。这些话题的基本思路都是相同的，缺点主要从环保角度去考虑。当然每个话题有不同的侧重点，同学需要认真对待。

文章用词灵活多样，学术词汇使用也比较准确；可适当增加长句和复杂句的使用；上下文衔接不流畅，文章结构不严谨。
Air travel is regarded as a transportation for the rich ,considering its high fare.It really contribute to shortening the time travelers waste on transport ,which improves the quality of travel.Taking its advantages into consideration ,there was a statement that the price of air travel is supposed to be cheaper ,which benefits widen range of people.But someone was against for the problems it leads to.Maintain the present price can prevent the problems to become severe.My opinions to this statement are as following. Air travel absolute make a difference ,which provides a approach for travelers to wherever they want in a shorter time.Long time waste in traffic is big headache for travelers,which is a block for them to travel to farther place.With the development of air travel , it is possible for those who wants to go home in a short holiday .Or make the dream about going aboard comes true.It enable travelers enjoy the beauty of the destination ,increasing the will to travel and stimulating the local tourism.As a result of air travel ,the outcome of tourism will go high ,which exerts positive effect on economic and finally individuals.Moreover it strengthens the connection between remote villages and cities or between countries and countries ,enhancing the cultural diversity.All these reason s above are why I am for the statement. However,every coin has two sides.The disadvantages of air travel can not be ignored.I am worried about air pollution it causes,which is its severe problems.Consuming the aircraft flue ,airplane emits kinds of gas which do harm to environment , human and animals.With more people take airplane ,this problem may be worsen.In addition ,the cost of aircraft flue and airplane are expensive,lessening the possibility of cutting off a part of price.Thus ,I hold a prospective attitude to the future of cheaper airplane ticket. All in all ,I agree that more people deserve to enjoy the benefit of air travel,but there are many difficulties for us to overcome .
