The reason why such many peole celebrate Western festivals are that, First and foremost, when we learn a foreign language, like English, French and Spnish, it is important for us to learn their culture. Secondly, a great many American TV series have been brought into China. Many young People are addicted to watching it. When come to the western festivals, they copy the scenes what they watched before. Finally,they believe that it is interesting for them to celebrate foreign festivals. It can enrich their life and make their life more colorful. There is no doubt that overcelebrate western festivals will inflict generate severe consesquence. For instance, If we always celebrate western festivals, our own festival will fade out our life. Our own culture will be gradually forgotten by us. So, I think we should protect our own culture rather than celebrating the western festivals.
