As we see in the picture, the parents are writing an e-mail to their daughter Andy just for greeting and ask her to come downstairs for something to eat. They don t contact with each other face-to-face even they live together. Internet has impacted greatly on the way people communicate. But whether electronic communication can replace face-to-face contact? I don t think so. For one thing, When we talk to anyone else face-to-face, We can see the face and the body language which will make us not so nervous and feel happy. It will be easier for us to get along with other person and promote emotions between us. For the other thing, Our society is full of genuine humanity but the computer is so cold that if the face-to-face contact is replaced by electronic communication there will be less funny. In a word, Face-to-face contact is very important for us.
