Higher education plays an important role in modern society. Today, receiving higher education remains a luxury for most of the people. Such dilemma mainly stems from the shortage of educational resources as well as wide requirement from ordinary families. In most of people's point of view, higher education act as a shortcut to superior classes and better living. In the light of this contention, everyone should have the opportunity to receive higher education because everyone has the right to pursuit happiness. In my point of view, although this seemingly correct statement is partially correct, for it represent the misunderstanding on higher education. There is no denying that, higher education of some subjects like financial, economics, management may lead to better jobs. However, there are also many subjects that is not directly related to good jobs, instead, some of them requires a student to possess qualities like determination, persistency and talent which are not likely apply to everyone. So the best way is to choose the most suitable students to receive such higher education. This would be beneficial for students as well as limited educational resources.
