currently, with the popularity of the internet, an increasing number of the young are enjoying the information explosion neglecting its shortage of distraction. Many of them would be seriously infected by the poverty of attention. They may have a poor performance in schools and make so many mistakes in daily life. Take me for instance. I usually spend two to three hours a day on sliding twitter for interesting news which made me unware of what I have left undone. Sometimes when I take out of may smart phone and look up a word, my attention will be draw into an advertisement for a few minutes. Moreover, I always lost in the ocean of information and confused by which kind of them should I choose. We have such an advanced tools for information searching that we can not help ourselves being lost in the confusion of information explosion. What we should do to avoid the weakness and take the advance of it? Firstly and most importantly, in my opinion, is to make sure what kind of information we need. Secondly, we had better block the internet when we are studying or working. lastly, make a list of task with strictly time limit which would fix our attention on what we are doing.
