Nowadays, the increasingly number of people looking for group-buy or collecting many coupons, reflects a common phenomenon that people consider saving money as the only or the best element to make them smart consumers. I think it is completely wrong and I will explain it from two parts. Firstly, we should buy products based on our needs firstly instead of the price. For example, the people make saving money as the most important role in buying, he or she may decide not to buy the thing they need just because of the money. But they also probably buy product they needn’t actually, but they saw the price is good and then they have desire to buy it. Secondly, we can clearly know that the suppliers will always have benefits from our buying. So the lower price may hide some fact that the product may are low quality or the food is nearly overdue. We think we will get much benefit but we lost more indeed. Make a summary. We can’t make us be a smart consumer just by saving money. we may lose a wise standard to decide whether we should buy the things or not. And we may lost more money and get a unfair shopping by group-buy or so much for those. So we need build wisely thinking to make us a smart consumer instead of just saving money.
