The living style of Chines has experienced transformation from the traditional way of living together to the modern lifestyle of living individually or in small family units.I think some reasons will cause this situation. Adimitively, people more concern about their private life than before,which result that they tend to live in a smaller house instead of sharing a large space with others.In addition,living with a group of person is a antiquated notion that people think it can strength family in the past time with too much unstable factors,but it is not suitable for now. On the other hand, most of families only have one or tow children due to the government policy of birth ,which restrict the scale of family. However,the gradual shrinkage of family can be benefit to society or bring negative effect is a wealthy question to discuss.In my view, both of advantage and adverse effects to society existing. Firstly, living in a large family do not easily feel lonely,and everyone can care about each other,that can contribute to the advanced of relationship among person.Besides,troubles can be solved by your family members instead of only relaying on your ability. Unfortunately,some adverse effect also stimulate the desire of living in small family units.For example,some unnecessary conflicts will emerge in the process of getting along ,although people know clearly the principle of trying to understand each other.On the other hand,privacy will be easily exposed to others even those things you do not want to make others know. In conclusion, the trend of living in small family unit is more distinct whatever the reasons, it brings about two opposite effects of positive and negative.
