looking throught the period of the university, I think I have benefited from the transient but timeless college life at two points---contact with different pepole in different ways and set up a system of self-learning, which will make a profound impact on my future career and life. fistly, the college is a stage where I have access to emulate sages, fret with peers and blend in the kaleidoscope garden of peoples. situated in the university, I am flourishing in a state of trinity for I have to deal with trifles concerning regional and international cultura conflict, get along with the classmates peacefully and behave myself appropriately and perfectly faced with teachers and the senior students. therefore, to handle the tough task, I am supposed to strain my potential and even break the limitation. for example, I, who am sandwiched by the senior and the peer, manage to be excellent in my class and be helpful for my teachers in the case of emergency but meanwile it is wise for me not to fail to show restraint. accordintly, this kind of balance must have its rhyme in the future career life. beseides, the college welcome all the qualified talents form different regions with different cultures and customs, so it is the same with the workplace. I am lucky to experience the throe of initial conflict between different cultures and values in the college so as to be composed and skilled in taclking the matter. here the space narrows my elaboration on this point and I stop to expatiate on my second point. the system of self-learing, in my opinion, is perpetually beneficial once formed in my mind. saying goodbye to the former exam-orientation education, I spare no effort to adapt myself to the independent thinking and learing, which used to be a painstaking struggle, and also turns out to be a fruitful and significant victory. as we all konw, the journey of life is a way to ultimate truth, and as travellers on the road, we are the learners who should never desert learning wherever we are and however old we are. consequently, the most precious lesson I have learned in college is that we should develop the habit of learning and form the system of self-learing, with which I will be fearless and invicible no matter what difficulty and obstalces I encouter in my career. worthy of attention, what I put forward above are not the only two gains but the most important ones in my view.
