Private Car Owners Should Be Taxed for Pollution Recently,the issue of whether private car owners should be taxed for pollution has been brought to public attention.According to the research,the majority of the private car owners believe that it is necessary for them to be taxed.However,there are still some people against the pollution tax.As far as I am concerned,with the development of the economy,the pollution is becoming worse and worse at the same time so no matter who we are or what we do,we should try our best to save the air,the earth.Therefore,it is necessary for private car owners to be taxed for pollution. On the one hand,to get a full appreciation of the pollution tax,we have to turn first to the advantages of being taxed for pollution.Nowadays,with the increasing number of private cars,the air pollution becomes more and more serious.In order to avoid the pollution getting worse,the government need funds to improve the quality of the air so they need pollution tax.With the tax,the scientists and the government can do their best to make ways to improve the quality of air which will benefit us a lot. On the other hand,no less important is that by being taxed,less and less people who want to buy a car will put off this plan.As a result,the number of private car will keep a balance in China.Moreover,more and more people will choose to take a bus or subway when they go out which is of great importance for protecting the environment. Taking into account all of these factors,we may reach the conclusion that private car owners should be taxed for pollution not only because they should pay for the pollution they make but also they need to protect the earth for their one generation to another.
