With the rapidly developing high-technology which provides various equipments and more methods to exploit the natural world,people have been involving in the wilderness,with increasingly powerful influence.As a result,witnessing the extensive damage of land and natural resources,excessive deforestation among globe and chemical pollution in river,ocean and arable land,some experts especially ecologists acclaim that human being are destroying the earth which is the only available planet for people by now,rather than glorifying and optimizing the environment in which we live.Personally thinking,actually scientific progress and technological innovations actually have made immense distributions to the advancement of worldly environment,but at the same time,the negative by-products cannot be ignored. For one thing,in the long river of human civilization,including ancient culture and modern states,countless people have achieved massive scientific progress,thus making people handle numerous equipments to recreate the surroundings.For instance,in agriculture era,the invention of furrow and plough offers the original ability to cultivate crops more efficiently,more productively and more effectively.In industrial era,several industry revolutions have granted people with unparalleled power to affect the planet,such as factory exploiting minerals,drainage system polluting the limnetic lakes and gas exhaustion causing global warming. However,what is more noteworthy is the detrimental consequence following the emerging capacity of human technology.Firstly,the factories bulit for taking advantage of minerals have damaged the land and mountains,and deforested profuse forest.Then,the refinment of minerals inevitably creates myriad pollution,such waste water,waste air and chemical dirts.Secondly,the popularization of personal cars,limousines and airplanes has propelled the dramatic increasement of coal ,natural gas and oil,i.e.fossilized fuel,whose utility easily causes global warming. In conclusion,the effect ensuing with the scientific progress and technological devices of human society is not certain or indisputable,because they have both positive aspects which enable people to better harness the plenty of resources,and negative aspects which enable people to jeopardize the natural world inadvertently.Therefore,in the future,people should deemphasize the conquest for the nature,but search for more comptible methodology for the sustainable development.
