Rewrite 7 It is observed that children are gradually losing interests in active and creative things and they make their time possessed more by watching TV. Parents and socialists wonder the causes of this phenomenon and the measurements to tackle with it. In my views, the most common character of kids is laziness, which is also the main cause of the phenomenon. Comparing with all the other active or creative things such as playing chess, drawing paints, singing songs or sporting, watching TV appears to need neither intelligent nor physical labour and thus is a great recreation for lazy children. Though children themselves are to be blamed, parents can not get rid of the responsibilities. Some parents think it is enough if they take good care of the children on aspects of diet, medication and education. However they forget to spend time with kids and give communication without which children will get it from watching TV instead. Even if parents are busy at work, they can send children to the interst-expanding class as one of the measurements to tackle with the phenomenon we are concerning. And in terms of society or government, they might lack concern about providing infrastructures like basketball and football grounds, swimming pools, music halls, etc. Hence children find no places for activities. So another measurement will be building more facilities for children. To sum up, the reason causing the case we discuss stems from the aspects of children personally, parents and society. And the measurements to tackle with it demand both parents and society to play their roles. (258words)
