In the wake of development in information and communication technology,people are prone to use phones to keep in touch with others,which brings to an increasing decline in letter writing.In my point of view,I'm fully convinced that the prosperity of phones will kill letter writing some day,although it is a pity.And reasons supporting my idea can be listed as follows. First of all,using phones are of great convenience,which makes our life easier.Whenever we want to get in touch with someone,we just can dial a number and then talk to him or her.It is the letter writing that never can do it in a direct and quick way.Furthermore,when we have something important to inform someone,using phones are more efficient and helpful than letter writing.Last but not least,because of being accustomed to the fast-paced lifestyle,it will be difficult for people to calm themselves down and write letters in modern time. From the above,we can easily get a conclusion that it is inevitable for letter writing being killed by phones.And it is undeniable that only those that can adapt to the new world can survive,otherwise,it will perish.
