The Hollywood Blockbuster catches millions of eyes of attention each year, including teenagers and young children all over the world. However, the parents doubt that some of these films may put a shadow on children’s growth since violent movies with blood occupies an essential place in all movies. The same concerns can also be reflected from violent TV programmes. These two-dimensional stories, to some extent, have a negative impact on children’s mental health and behavior, which needs immediate solutions nowadays. One of the parents’ worries is that bloody films and TV programmes easily have dreadful influence on children’s mental growth. It’s generally considered that violent stories on screen have become one of the main reason causing autism and other mental illness. Sometimes violent movies and TV programmes just like drugs which more easily drag children down to an evil world. Once children get addicted to them, they would corrode teenagers’ mental health and distort children’s value toward the world. Besides that , horror movies also turn children's behavior in the wrong direction.A child surrounded by TV series like American Horror Stories, violent movies like Rocket Jockey everyday might be gradually turned into a potential killer. violent films do contribute to high box-office, but also leads to high teenager crime rate. In terms of this, many juvenile delinquents admit that their motivation and criminal way are inspired by those actors in horror movies. Although some people insist that even children should have a right to see the dark side of the society from these movies, after all, the adult world that these children are going to enter is not a fairy tale at all, it is still necessary to take violent movies under control. A new censorship should be carried out to protect our children's mental health and growth.
