With the rapidly developing globalization which provides more various cultural selections for people,how to attain the authentic and grounded information about exotic civilization has been increasingly significant.Subsequently,some experts thinks that the newspapers and magazines written in foreign language or transported from that country are the best equipments and material to learn about it.However,in response of this suggestion,other people have contradictory points about what we can do to obtain the first-hand resoureces,as modern citizens who have realistic demand for knowing about diverse culture beyond the indigenous ken.In my opinion,I also think that the media,including newspapers and magazines,are not absolutely the advisable method for this purpose and there are more efficacious alternative which could be implemented with less cost and higher effectiveness. Firstly,the meadia,such as newspapers and magazines,etc.,have several undeniable shortcomings which will tarnish the advantages.For one thing,although newspapers and magazines could be the most convenient channel to keep close to foreign information,sometimes the papers printed out could contain massive faults about the reality.Because the press,an institution which must survive by consistently catching the eyes and then enhancing the circulation.Moreover,in most cases,what cannot be ignored is so many reports written by politicians or scholars whose spurious ideas will inevitably influence the readers.Consequently,the media will perhaps play an ignoble role in the renaissance of global culture.Thus,the media's demerits are so apparent that we cannot over-emphasize the magnificence of newspapers and magazines. Furthermore, personally thinking,there are still multitudinous ways for us to touch purly exotic civilization.For instance,a trip to the destination we are interested in,can bring more direct experience.Instead of simplistically watching pictures or television episodes,experiencing those places,residents and architectures in person will give us the true feeling.In addition,I believe that making friends with some foreigners is also better,because they lived there and are the most pussaint speakers to describe the truth of exotic culture.So we can utilize other more proficient ways to fulfill our goals. In conclusion,on the basis of above reasons,the newspapers anf magazines from a foreign country cannot be considered as the best way to get close with that country.Indeed,the demand for keeping up-to-date is so fierce currently that we must positively search for sufficient ways.Honestly,there are more methodology for the aim.
