These time, as the rapid increasing of government revenue , how to make the best use of these funds has risen a heatedly debate. Some claim the government should pay for us all to attend university, whereas others are afraid it may be a big burden to the whole society. From my perspective , the government is supposed to spend a large amount of money on the fundamental education rather than stick to the advanced university education blindly. Admittedly, it is indeed of great benefit for the support on the education. First, since the government revenue mainly come from the public tax, which means we all have the right to enjoy a better service from the government with education just being basic one. Second, being taught is critical for the man’s whole life, to be specific, education serves an crucial t in enriching people’s spiritual life as well as developing their sense of creativity, which makes them live or work more efficiently and helps well in promoting the property of the society. The last but not the least, university education is established to cultivate the well-rounded students, from which, the nation may present a sustainable development picture. However, it is not a must for the government to pay all college fees for all people, the reasons are as follows. The first place, because of the social distribution, the well-rounded genius are not so highly demand compared to the technical workers at present. Then, even for these developed countries,not all students have the talent to proceed their studies, it may be impossible to cover all the fees of tertiary education, for they have spent a lot money on the compulsory education. As for college students, the theoretical knowledge they acquire from the campus just teaches them life learning skills instead of practical ones, which means they can not get the profit from them directly, so they have the duty to pay at least a part of the school fees. What the government should do is keeping on funding on the fundamental education, and providing some assistance for those from poor families like offering them no-interest loans to make their study dreams come true. It is a method fair for the whole society
