What impressed me most was that unforgettable experience as a volunteer. Last Summer holiday, i was asked to go to the nursing house in order to take care of the old.When arriving there,we are delighted to be warmly welcomed by the old.To begin with, we introduced ourselves.Then,we presented them with some cards which made by ourselves.After that,we offered to do some cleaning and washing. However, one of us made a mistake. She broke the vase by accident.To our surprise,the old man told us to be careful next time with a smile instead of criticizing us strictly.Next, we gave some performances to bring them happiness.At last, we were all praised by the old for the good work and they said they were looking forward to see us again. On my way home, i thought a lot it is necessary for us to learn how to respect and look after others, especially the old.Moreover, if everyone pays more attentions to the old,they will not feel lonely anymore. As the old saying goes 'TThe old man is respected, the human spirit is the best a privilege.'
