All teachers should take courses every five years to update their knowledge. For centuries, education has been always viewed as significant as science, economics, and military equipment for a nation. In the past, only did teachers teach those knowledge that to some extent never varied or upgraded. Today, though, with the coming of internet and a wide range of advanced technology, teachers should recharge themselves with new knowledge to satisfy students every several years. There are two primary reasons for my opinion as follows. First and foremost, the speed of transformation for knowledge and technology is amazing. With the widespread use of internet, the interaction between one nation and other places in the world has become more intimate and frequent, thus the communications of science, education and even state-of-the-art technology are also made. Some knowledge which used to be written on books perhaps is wrong in the contemporary society, not adopt to current situations definitely. Necessarily, teachers should relearn in their own field where they are professional, read more advanced books and focus on the magnificent event happening in that field, especially, chemistry, bioscience, medical science and other cutting-edge field. Moving on, it is surely responsible for students and teachers to update knowledge. As for the students, they want to learn the newest information and the most accurate statistics, yet not those obscure even wrong knowledge. It is the first step to keep the rapid pace of the world, then young generation can make contributions to world and even humankind. Only do the adolescents know about the trend of science, they can make other unprecedented innovations. As for teachers themselves, it is an action of self-discipline and making themselves not obsolete in thoughts. Therefore, not only can the students benefit from updating knowledge, but teachers themselves also learn about more information. Taking above mentioned into consideration, an unshakable conclusion be safely drawn that teachers’ refreshing for knowledge have much significance on the development of education.
