As most may believe, age is linked with experiences. While, there is possibly no concern with competence for age. People think young people can not hold the crucial positions seemed to be biased. Can we refuse Justin bieber to be a pop singer just because his young age? Of course not. It is unreasonable to judge individuals’ competences from their ages. No one can imagine what a teen can achieve by his outstanding ability. The traditional thought that it is unsuitable to let young individuals to hold some essential status can be wrong. Date back to ancient human history, we can tell there were vast majority of governors made their countries prosperous meanwhile contributed to the progress of human civilizations. Analysis those rulers, we could easily come to a conclusion that the significant positions in government ought to be held by competent people, so that the country even the world tends to become better. It is unimaginative that all the important positions in government are held by middle-ages or the old. Admittedly, the old generation can be more sophisticated and possibly more experienced than those who are young. Still, there are a wide range of talented young people who are willing to serve their countries. Besides compared with the old, younger generation can sometimes be more open minded and creative which is required by the modern society. No matter how old a governor is, the competence is the most important factor which determines whether the position in government should be held or not.
