My hometown, Guangdong, is also known as the city of flower and city of five goats. It's universally acknowledged that Guangdong province is abundant in traveling resources, among which the Pearl River and the Gungzhou Tower are the most attractive. Reasons for introducing these two interesting places to my foreign friend are as followed. From my perspective, the Pearl River is supposed to be the first choice when visiting Guangdong. Not only is the Pearl River one of the most known rivers around China but also it has been making great contribution to the development of Guangdong province both in history and modern society. Furthermore, numerous interesting things can be discovered beside the river such as the Guangzhou Tower, which has become the new symbol of Guangzhou city for its amazing altitude and attractive appearance. Thus, I consider it meaningful to take my foreign friend to watch for the Pearl River.
