Few students tend to choose science subjects as their first choice when they go to university,which results there are not enough students going about related work.I think some reasons can demonstrate this situation basically. Admitivelly,large pressure from employment leads that students have to think of their choice twice,which demand them to focus more on skill instead of their interesting.However,science subjects are set for those people who are willing to devote themselves into science career without too much pay off of money.Also,traditional attitude of parents is that their children can have fixed job to support themselves.In addition,young students have a dream of working relaxing and enjoyment,not like the work of science with boring and the daily grind. This tendency will obviously cause effects on society.Firstly,you can find that the competition among employees is more huge due to everyone has the same skill,and employers have enough opportunities to pick up the best one they need.In the other hand,the problem of unbalance development of different subjects will present,which can result in the standstill of the development of science subjects.However,we should clearly know the importance of science to our life,especially those great inventors,as the results of science. So,it is an important thing to solve this problem.As for schools,setting up interesting groups to cultivate students' extant hobbies.Besides,government also can fund for science career,and elevate their reward of research also can stimulate more students to attend science subjects.
