Our life has become more and more comfortable as the use of cars, plants and other technological tools. In the way of development, the natural environment has been damaged to some degree by excessive human activities, such as river pollution, haze, decrease of plants and animals species. Some people think negatively that it is too late to do anything about this problem, since industrial production is bound to bring many negative effect to the natural environment, such as energy consumption and exhaustion. Moreover, the existing damage has been too serious to take practical solutions for any improvement since the Industrial Revolution. And, there are still disappearance of animals and plants species at an alarming rate. Others, however, firmly believe that effective measures can be taken to improve this problem. Firstly, what is the most important is that there is an increasing awareness of the great danger human beings are in. Therefore, there are many laws which are made for protecting our natural environment in the whole world. For instance, Trade in endangered plants and animals is now internationally prohibited. What people have done has effectively prevent the situation from bad to worse. What's more, great advances have been achieved on science and technology in the last few decades. There are lots of cases in which human beings ought to trust themselves, by reason or by force, in meeting the challenges. In my opinion, despite the fact of our natural environment is crucial, we should believe in ourselves and try our best to avoid worsening the natural environment. Meanwhile, effective means should be taken to recover our natural environment designedly. It is about the time that we human beings do something to establish a good relationship between human beings and nature.
