Should Students Be Forced to Attend Remedial Classes? Recently, more and more parents and teachers forced students to attend remedial classes to learn painting, instruments or just to learn the same things as school courses in order to improve their grades. So, here comes a question: should students be forced to attend remedial classes in their spare time? Some people think children really need to work hard even though they are still young for competition today becoming fiercer than before. If you are not better than others or just as good as them you will be out before the “game” start. However, too young are the children to understand and accept it. Others are on the opposite side. They reject any people to force children to attend remedial classes in their spare time. As we all know childhoods are the happiest and most colorful time in our life. Every child should be free and without sorrow and anxiety. Too much burden will ruin their lives. From my perspective, even though I ever complained many times for the remedial classes which have taken me much spare time, I appreciate it now that my mother forced me to learn the piano and my teachers forced me to attend all kinds of after-school classes so that I can feel easy now to cope with academic problem and things about music. Maybe every student will feel grateful to his or her parents and teachers after they attend college. They will know the truth that every sweat would be deserved in the end.
