As the old saying goes, “Think twice before acting”, which suggests that we do not make hasty decisions before thinking carefully. So, why is it unwise to draw conclusions upon seeing or hearing something? What we see is mostly a superficial phenomenon, which can easily been veiled or distorted by external factors such as environment and circumstances. Those factors can be a misleading addict to the facts. Meanwhile, sometimes what we hear can be rumors which are not always proved to be true. For example, scalpers are likely to announce new polies before an auto-plate bid in order to increase the prices, which is beneficial to themselves. In addition, our first impression are not always reliable, especially if incorporated with our own colorful emotions and prejudice. If we are in a joyful mood, we tend to judge everything in a positive way, and vice versa. To sum up, it is unwise to make hasty generalization upon seeing and hearing something. We should be calm and think carefully before making any conclusion. Take off your colorful glass, and conduct a serious thinking in an objective manner, and you will find the underlying conclusions bubble out of the water without distortion.
