It Pays to Be Honest Honesty has been considered as a good virtue since ancient times, and it has been considered as a basic principle for a man's existence. A man who is honest always acquires trust and friendship. As one old Chinese saying goes, a man without honesty will not stand up on the society. It's so important that we should be honest. however, nowadays, with the rapid development of social economy, the phenomena of dishonesty can be seen everywhere. Some students cheat in exams to get a good score, which makes harmful influence on other students. Some businessmen make fake commodities in order to get money, which does harm not only to consumers but also to themselves. Although they can get money temporarily, they violate their inner heart, and they break the market rules at the same time. Once being found, they will lose all their money and other people's trust. Therefore, we should remember it pays to be honest. We ourselves and our children should be honest.
