Tony Hawk's obsession is to practice in one track for more than 12 times which he thought is a good obsession. Those two obsession have different definitions.For example,the first obsession means that it is a strong motivation or emotion to pursuit the aim and achieve the goal.In that aspect, it has a opposite meaning because it cause a strong emotional reaction. However the second obsession has a contrary explanation which means a thought or action that is the cause of anxiety or the result of anxiety so it is negative. So we can infer that different obsessions contributes to different consequences and this inferring can be exactly judged according to the Tony Hawk story.Positive things like successfully performing the 900 and writing "skateboarder" as his occupation are good and the negative things are that he didn't have a chance to be with girls or often picked up by the other athletes.
