University ranking, as an important criterion of educational quality,has become prevail among people.When students finished high school,they has to be confronted with which university they should go. Different people, however, are held by different opinions.Some people believe that without enough imformations,university ranking would be a significant factor to take into consideration when choosing university.University ranking can demonstrate a school's comprehensive ability,with it's ranking they can make a wise decision.Nevertheless,others remain that university ranking is based on the conprehensive research,which could not represent the level of a certain major.In fact,they tend to care about the actual situation of their choosing major. In my opinion,I assume that university ranking should not be neglected,meanwhile,we also take other factors into account,like the teaching ability,teaching facility and campus enviroment.Lastly, and most important,it is important to choose an outstanding major rather than a university ranking top but not good at your chosen major.
