This paper was divided into five parts. Chapter 1 was the introduction part which gave the background of the research, significance and organization of this paper. Chapter 2 was about literature review. There were previous studies on error analysis and types of errors. Chapter 3 was about method, including study aims, participants, instruments, procedure and data analysis. Chapter 4 gave a discussion about the results of the empirical study and offers some suggestions about avoiding number errors. Chapter 5 made a conclusion to this paper, presented the major findings, pointed out the limitations of the paper, offered some suggestions for the subsequent relevant study.
