The participants are teachers and students from the No.9 Middle School in Huainan. Students are from grade eight. First, we choose randomly 100 compositions from different grade eight students. Then, let another 40 students do a set of test (See appendix). Last, some of them are chosen randomly to have a related interview after the test. Why choose grade eight junior students as participants? Since they have been learning English for at least 2 years, some even have more than 2 years. In other words, all the participants have some basic English knowledge. Grade nine students have higher level of English, because they are preparation for the high school entrance exam. They may have the same level as the superior students by high intensity training. As for grade seven students, they are new to junior middle school English curriculum and may have no systematic grammar knowledge about English. Therefore, grade eight students are the best choice.
