Secondly, some people are fearful of culture shock, on many occasions, people do not recognize what is happening when they go through culture shock. Everything is new, and there are many small irritations, challenges and frustrations, which individually would not be so bad. But the great number of such experiences, the high level of minor but constant irritations if disorienting. People in this situation usually do not know why they feel the way they do, what is causing their frustration, their depression and their restlessness.

Nowadays, paying a visit to foreign countries is getting more popular. Some people claim they like to learn local culture when they travel while others don’t. The reasons for this mainly lies on culture difference and time. People who are in favor of learning local culture may cite that it is also part of their travel experience because different cultures have different ways of living and thinking. While they travel, some would observe local people’s behaviors and even try to experience those fascinating traditions themselves, which to some extent can enrich their visits. For example, when i was visiting an Indian city where local people bathed themselves with mud, i thought it was crazy and unhealthy at first. However, it was only enjoyable and unforgettable when i threw myself into the mud and enjoyed this tradition. However, some other people do not enjoy learning local culture mainly because of culture difference. Visiting foreign countries is not only exciting and interesting, but also could be strange and unfamiliar due to the differences between cultures. While people traveling in a new place, local customs and rules could sound completely different from their own, which makes them not interested into local customs so that they refuse to learn them. Beside, learning a new culture takes time, traveling people often have their plans, leaving them not enough time to experience local culture. In conclusion, traveling abroad seems more common those days. While some people like to learn local culture through observation and personal involvement, some others refuse to do it mainly because culture difference and time.
