I went back to my hometown on summer vacation. There, a lot of farmers were working hard in the farmland. The sun was hot, though I did not work, I had already sweated a lot. I thought they are very grand , for working hard but never claim anything. Suddenly, I found an old man who sat on a chair, using a hoe to weed his small, poor farmland with his hands. ’What a rather lazy man.’ I thought disgustedly and quickly left. However, when I turned right and looked at the man from another sight, I was shocked that one of his trousers legs was empty. There’s a stick near the chair. He is a disabled man! I was quite ashamed that I had looked down at him. A few seconds before I had thought him as a lazy man, but now he was a hero---in my heart---a man who fought against challenging life. As the old saying, we can not judge a book from its cover. An apparent lazy man may also be a hero.
