As far as I am concerned,judgements are basically made under aborative thinking,so I consider snap judgements are unauthentic. Snap judgements are made much too fast that it lacks consideration.For instance,when a police officer needs to identify and arrest a suspect,instead of checking the known files,he decides to find the suspect by instinct,he might catch the wrong guy and let the real one run away.Also,as you are going to choose one from several courses,without considering the content of the course and what it may provide you,you choose it basing on whether it seems cool,you might end up wasting time gaining nothing. And there is a saying goes,never too soon to make a decision.So I think snap judgements can never be trusted.
