In daily life, it is particularly hard for us to judge something from its deep side, because we always be misleaded by the appearance of objects. For instance, when we are more willing to communicate further to a beautiful lady compared with an ugly guy, the reason for that thought is just because of the beauty of the lady. However, is beautiful equal to good? From my perspective, it may not always true. That is your snap judgements should not been trusted. Firstly, it is rough task for people to give an accurate judgement when they see or hear something at beginning, because the goodness in first sight is not equal to forever goodness. That is pretty like when you see a guy in warm coat in winter, you never know what cloth he or she wears inside, a T-shirt or a shirt. In addtion, getting to know something always takes more time not just one or two seconds, because your correct judgement should be built in the process of gradual recognization. For example, you see a girl who wears glasses, you think she has some disease with her eyes. However she may think the look she wears glasses is more beautiful than not. You get the information only you get along with her for some time. What’s more a snap judgement may hurt some ignocent people. When many people on the Internet blame the male driver who beated the female driver in Chengdu, they only used the judgement that it is totally unaccepted thing a male beated a female, but they didn’t ask why. Because the female driver didn’t obey the road rule and which almost caused some serious accident. In conclude, appearance may so beautiful, but it may guide us to a wrong direction. So don’t trust your snap judgements, judging through more evidence.
