He is willing to accept suggestions to make Catherine happy. For instance, he wears beard for a long time. Love becomes an indispensable part of his life. When Catherine is in danger, he prays the God that he would do anything if the God would not take Catherine away. He even hate his own baby as the child makes Catherine suffered so much pain. He understands what true love is and learns to sacrifice for love.
