We Are What We Read When it comes to the optimal way of learning,people's ideas are not cut from the same cloth. Some people point out that reading is a critical part of learning and growth. They base their argument on the ground that everything becomes possible due to reading. However,others react to the learning the other way around and contend that the experience is just reasonable or right. From their angle of view,it is more beneficial to using their senses to explore. From where I stand,I'm for the former——we are what we read. It is of great significance for us to read due to the following reasons . First of all,reading lays a foundation for experience .No matter of how much one has experienced,he can 't enrich his knowledge without reading books .The more knowledge you gain ,the more experienced you are. Secondly ,in the century of Internet ,we can learn the world affairs without traveling thousands of miles .An increasing number of people are beginning to realize that reading is a significant way to experience our world. Reading is like travelling, the process of which enables you to experience the colorful world and enlarge your eyes scope. Thirdly ,there is no denying the fact that reading is a essential way to gain knowledge. A good book get you to know a life experience through the eyes of someone other than yourself .To open a book is like opening a door, through which you will enter a museum, where all man-made wonders and unique wisdoms are available for you to appreciate. Not only can we widen our horizon ,but also bring us enjoyment and satisfaction. Taking all these factors into consideration ,we may safely come to the conclusion that we are we are what we read .As an undergraduate ,we are supposed to read more .Only in this way can enrich knowledge and get whatever information we need.
