Many people agree that health plays a vital role in one’s life. For those who wish to make a big fortune, what would they do if they suffer from illness during work? Studies often reveal that few would like to take a sick leave, or even a rest in workplace. But, for some of them, their hidden health issues may act like an active volcano ready to erupt at any time, if unaware or not taken seriously. Luo Yaoming, a technical backbone of the Ku6.com, had passed away in his early twentieth only six months after on-boarding, sudden and unexpected. He caught a cold at first. But he didn’t take it seriously and continued working so hard, when it soon developed into a severer disease: myocarditis--the inflammation of the heart muscle that can cause cardiac arrhythmia and heart failure, and eventually took his life. There being no work in the heaven, all wealth he’d accumulated had turned into nothing but a blank account. Of course, a common cold is nothing serious, but it was his ceaseless effort in pursuit of wealth at the expense of his health that caused such a fatal disaster. Had he stopped to take a rest for a few days, he’d have recovered completely. Nowadays, materialism is highly valued in our modern society along with hedonistic tendencies, but health problem is exacerbating as pressure associated with becoming wealthy, be it social or familial, is rocketing. We’re urged to view health as the highest priority. ‘Where there is life, there is hope”. It’s our responsibility to raise the awareness, after all, health is the best treasure that a man possess.
