There are many tranditional festival in China, however, just the Dragon boat festival has an old real story as background to be spreaded. the Dragon boat festival is the day to commemorate the great poat Quyuan, he very loved his country, want to do something thing to help the king manage the country, but the king do not only understand but also treated him very badly , so he felt sad and depressed, one day he jamp down the river to show the patriotic heart he has. he died in the river. the people very repect and miss him, they used leaves to packet some rice and meat as foods and throwed them to the river, because they want the fishs eat these foods but do not eat the Quyuan's body. so this transitional custom has been spreaded, on the day of dragon boat festival, people will use leaves to packet rice and meat to make a food that we call it zhongzi, and people also play dragon boat game. On that day, people will eat the Zhongzi and watch the Dragon boat game, they are happy because they will rest one day, but less and less people know the meaning of this important tranditional festival.
