With the increasingly rapid development of information technology and the striking popularisation of electronic equipment,residents living in modern society full of a great variety of fierce competition,gradually gain adequate chances to accept education through distance learning from the Internet.Indeed,be it primary students,undergraduates,doctors or the white collars,everyone can equally get access to distant studying,as long as people can warrant relevant tools.However,there are many experts,including anthropologists,educationists and sociologists,etc.,who hold the view that the distan learning may cause impressive disadvantages,whil there are still academicians who insist on its benefits.Personally thinking,the new-born style of learning truly has advantages and disadvantages,which could influence the formation of personality and lifestyle. On the one hand,the distant learning,really can sabotage the previous segregation of education,thus making almost everyone equally get the opportunities to purchase their educational dream.In the past,if anyone wanted to accept education or attain qualifications through taking part in courses,people had to step into classroom and sit down,listening to teachers carefully.But,the allocation of resources distributed into educational system,such as teaching staffs,the construction of campus,and so on,cannot be egalitarian.Therefore,the distant learning has generated a wonderful mean to break down the hermetic wall which protected the resources from moving freely.As a result of this situation,people can study under the instruction of any teacher that people think is suitable.Undoubtedly,this way is a great progress towards democracy and equalism. Moreover,from the perspective of economics,a new lifestyle can induce an emerging industry.Actually,the distant learning can nudge the production of many kinds of electronic equipment,such as personal laptop,video software,and acoustic utensils,thus making the industry more prosperous and the market more sprightly.And the new learning can creat numerous employment and thus be conducive to solving problems existing in workforce market where astronomical workers are confronting with the fear of unemployment and being redundant. On the other hand,this learning also has its shortcomings,especially for the adolescents.With meeting their teachers or professors in front of the screen,people cannot have real relation with directors.What is worse for young students is that they cannot learn interpersonal skills through occasional contact and quotidian communication which exists in traditional learning.Even in current society,it is the loss of interpersonal ability that is responsible for many weaknesses of the youngsters.If this kind of learning were to be put into practice with a large scale,this trouble only would be more serious. Conclusively,on the basis of above rationales and analysis,this learning has ite pros and cons.However,in spite of its inability to mold the individuality of students,I think that the distant learning's benefits are the mainstream,which means that its advantages outweigh the disadvantages.
