The impact of the Internet on interpersonal communication Recently, there is a heated topic about the impact of the Internet on interpersonal communication. Some people believe that it will destroy our relationship with others, while others argue that internet is beneficial for us to make more friends. As for me, all the above opinions make sense, and I intend to show the advantages of internet in communication to counterbalance its shortcoming. Firstly, internet can help us to broaden our horizons and make more friends from different filed and countries. As we all know, the world is infinite, but our life circles are limited, at that times, internet provides us with many different kinds of way to contact various people. Secondly, Internet supplies us with a way to solve our private relational problem more smoothly than face-to-face. In our daily life, we may have some conflicts with our friends, and we are easier to speak out harmful words to our friends although that is not really we want. However, internet gives us a way to express our feelings through the screen, which we can clam down to solve our problem, then our conflict can be settled more faster. Finally, from what we have discussed above, we can conclude that everything has two sides, what we can do is to use its advantages but not just think its bad sight.
