With the increasingly rapid development of commercial society and the significant role which education can play in influencing adolesecents' future growth,people think that personal education and experience can truly affect latent path.Consequently,many experts,including teaching staff,anthropologists,psychologists and so on,debate about whether there should be various extra-curricular activities or just professional courses.In the perspective of modern theory,numerous academicians hold this view that full-time university students should spend time involving other activities besides focusing on studying.In my point,I think that this kind of idea successfully pay attention to present problems which modern education has,and try to cope with those problems,i.e.less flexible and less responsive graduates. Firstly,it is obvious that engaging in other activities could ehance students' diverse skills,such as interpersonal skills,trouble-solving techniques,and practical skills,etc.Currently,no matter in developed countries,or in developing states,the high unemployment rate of teenagers,has been a serious social issue.Honestly,this phenomenon is mainly caused by the surplus production of graduates and the unbalance between the demand and the provision of workforce.But apparently the unqualified graduates can also be criticized because ordinarily graduates overstate their professional abilities rather than other sills,thus making them maladjusted to the real society.So,through taking part in other activities,students can equip themselves with crucial and necessary abilities for the future preparation. Moreover,participating in extra-curricular activities cannot only offer benefits for the future progress,but also provide feasible method for troubles emerging in the procees of adolescent growth.For instance,countless universities are reported by the media,about the bitter fact that there are a lot of horrific campus violence,such as bulleying,school shoot and robbery,etc.Nowadays,if students can converge together,interacting with each other and chatting with those who are not familiar,students perhaps establish friendly relationship among them.As a result of the harmonious atmosphere,campus violence can be reduced by our authentic efforts. However,there are still existent questions for this point,as many parents and teachers said.First of all,it is studying that is the indubitably principal task of students.If students were to spare time to other activities,students would have less time for studying and thus this mistake would influence the scores.In addition,if students develop abnormal relationship through engaging in recreation and parties,schools and parents will encounter with more problems. Conclusively,on the basis of above ratiocination,I have no hezitation in saying that the benefits can outweigh the shortcomings.After all,everything has its pros and cons.More importantly,universities are able to erect reasonable regulation and the youngsters can take advantage of this chance.
