With the increasingly rapid development of commercial economy and the significant role which citizens can play in democratic society,numerous people step into the artisticl profession,such as singers,painters,composers and actors,etc.Clearly,the eye-catching phenomenon could induce extensive disputes among various experts,including economists,anthropologists,sociologists,and even policy makers.Many academicians hold the view that the government granting agency should not allocate spare money to the development of arts,but more essential affairs in human civilization.Personally thinking,although giving immense currency to artists is not sagacious ultimately,the support of official funding for artists is still vital. Firstly,unlike what many economists and ordinary people think about the works of artists,they do not absolutely waste money and time making meaningless gadgets or abstruse painting,or noisy music.In contrast,actually,artists' demands are extremely huge,thus creating a strong market where economic chances and financial opportunities are abundant.For example,musicians ordinarily need a wide variety of musical material and a team of co-workers,which consists of composers,cleaners,instructors and so on.Therefore,the development of arts could generate a puissant power to assimilate superfluous production and provide extra space for redundant ex-employees. Secondly,it is obvious that artistic enjoyment is indispensable in human life.Indubitably,people cannot live without what artists create,which is music,poems,paintings,sculptures and wonderful proses.INdeed,the development of arts is of vital importance,but in the starting stage,primary artists are under-funded and lack of allowance.Consequently,if enormous young artists abandon their careers and turn to promising business just because of fiscal shortage,unquestionaly our world may miss countless resplendent masterpieces.So the government has the responsibility to offer adequate support to artists. However,it is also crucial to keep the idea in mind that the financial support cannot be unreasonably distributed among artistic programmes and the amount must be confined in an affordable range.Honestly,the budget of annul expense is so limited and the deposit of the central bank is so insuffiicient that no cent can be wasted.As a result of this bitter fact,I cannot agree with this view that the government should give unlimited money to artists as its pleasure.Among valuable goals of the society,there are truly more elementary affairs which need efforts of the government and parliament to cope with,such as social viloence,family abuse,the urbanization in underdeveloped region. Conclusively,on the basis of above ratiocination,the development of workes created by artists is relatively fundamental for the super structure of our society,and the real fact makes the support from the government necessary.Nevertheless,the extent of the sponsorship must be defined,thus warranting a reasonable rate of return.Moreover,artists have the duty to take advantage of the precious support.
