Things Changed a Lot in My Hometown I have been working in anothe city for about 10 years and seldom do I have enough time to stay at my hometown for a long time. Therefore, it's easy for me to find so many changes take place in my hometown. It used to be a town covered by green trees, with fishes playing in the clear river water; people used to live in simple earth-made wall houses, with only narrow streets among lines of houses; and people ususally got up early and went to bed late to make a living in the past. However, things changed a lot these years because of the development of economy. On one hand, people's life becomes more convinient than before,there come so many high buildings such as factories, office buildings and it's common to see many kinds of cars passing in the streets. On the other hand, pollution becomes a serious problem. The environment pollution detoriated day by day, with trees become fewer and fewer, fishes dead and fewer, so the environment protction must be given great concern. In a word, the changs of myhomes town bring us both happiness and pity. We should appreciate the benefits but at the same time , try best to do be environmental friendly.
