Dear Editor, With the enhancement of people's living standard, more and more people have their own private cars. Our class had a heated discussion about having private cars. Generally there are two different opinions. Some students who support having private cars think that cars are only a transportation tool that is convinient, fast and comfortable. Besides, they argue that it represent the enhancement of living standards and country's power. What's more, car industry should accelarate the development of other related industries. However, some students hold the opposite view that it's no good to have more and more private cars considering the following aspects: first, cars make the air pollution more serious; secondly, the huge amount of cars on the streets bring heavy burden on traffice systems, and it makes not only traffic jams but also accidents.
