In accordance with what is detailedly demonstrated in the curve diagram,we can observe distinctly that it is with the noticeable growth of human population that the number of species has a remarkable decrease.Compared with the 1800,the number of people has sharply increased from approximate one million to 240 million in 1990.Accordingly,the number of the wild animal has dramatically diminished from 10 million to 70 million during the period from 1600 to 1900. There are numerous reasons accounting for the phenomenon however,on the basis of my judgment,three factors are contributed to it importantly.In the first place,as the human population grows rapidly,a growing number of people came to live where some wild species have been living.Consequently,these species have to move to other places but some of them probably cannot adapt to the new circumstances and then die.In the second place,although many people look on the wildlife as their friends,some people may not think so.They catch a lot of wild animals and sell them in order to get more money.Therefore,the natural balance and the ecologic environment are destroyed.In the third place,most of the wildlife become homeless and extinct in that the clear cutting has become increasingly serious. In order to protect the wildlife,I have some suggestions.First,the authority should make laws to prevent them being caught and killed.Second,the authority should educate people to love nature and protect it.Third,everybody should take practical actions to safeguard our planet.
