Ganz is concerned that they have launched the warmer line based on great quality product, which we are currently unable to achieve on some of the skus and are struggling with. Ganz asked us to provide a summary of the final piece counts so that they can advise appropriate departments to revise the PO’s (price and final shipped qty). Ganz said once they got over these hurdles, they needed to address some of the issues and figured out a best solution / strategy to move forward. I haven’t told them that we would want them to discontinue all the Taupe items when I suggested the discount as I’m afraid they might push for a very low ‘clearance’ price. Usually retailers here offer below-cost price for any items that they are not going to re-order in the future. I’m thinking about proposing it at a later date. Also, instead of giving them a harsh ‘discontinued’ decision right now, I’d like you to suggest some single reactive glaze finishes in a similar Taupe tone which would be a lot easier to handle during mass production. Since Ganz canceled the balanced qty of the 5” and 7” Taupe holders, they will cancel the balanced 2” and 3” holders as well. Please don’t ship any of the balanced TAI66, 68, 69
